Housekeeping
Sometimes things break for no apparent reason. That’s what happened to the template (design framework) for this blog. I don’t know why, but after determining that I couldn’t fix it from my end, I chose a template that works. I tried to pick one with simple type on a white background since this seems to be a group that values function over form. I hope you like it, but if you don’t just know that that change was one of necessity.

I like it Gail! I had noticed the large amount of white space, and found a fix here http://buzz.blogger.com/2005/06/layout-solutions.html
ReplyDeleteI was gonna try to fix it, but I go here, and *POOF* its all fixed.
Nice job Gail!!

Jane
Thanks for the kind words Jane. I got home from Reno, Joe alerted me and I went to work right away. I hadn't even thought to look for technical support from Blogger. I could tell by looking at the templates that the Bluebird template that we were using just wasn't up to snuff. A lot of the newer templates like this one are a whole lot easier to work with. It literally took me 5 minutes to add our customizations. That was not the case with the older template. It was so murky that I had to go through it line by line and even then it was more difficult to use. Clearly, the new one is better written.
