Links from the Gregg Zone

1) Leave it to Mercedes Benz to come up with the ultimate green car. Although reading the article it may a little suspicious they can pull this off. I mean growing body parts is one thing the idea of growing a car from seeds is a little bit of a stretch for me, but I am learning the technology curve can be pretty surprising sometimes. http://www.telegraph.co

2) Well the whole invisibility thing just got more interesting, seems there are more than one way to skin a cat. However this seems like quite a jump, up until now they have been focusing on bending light around an object kind of like Harry Potters invisibility cloak. What they are doing now is more like the hero’s guy who could move through time sort of stopping time and moving between seconds. I find this concept to be rather stunning if they can do it, it will certainly change our future in many ways. http://www.kurzweilai.net

3) It is looking like the Large Hadron Collider is going to pay off nicely, the Higgs Boson may still a year or two away, but other findings are also coming from the experiments they are running. They have found proof of other dimensions existing in sync with ours, this could be pretty big in the world of physics. http://www.reuters.com

4) I seem to be noticing a pattern regarding the advancements in science and technology lately although I am more than willing to admit I may be reading too much into the equation. But, there seems to be more and more sci-fi coming into our reality. Invisibility, time manipulation, the replicator type 3D printers, the space ladder, the list is growing faster and faster. Now they are finding more and more support for the existence of ESP, ability to see into the future, most interesting http://www.dailymail.col

5) For my geek link of the week I thought this article about how to control some of your information leak by using your google dashboard, some tricks and tweaks you can use to control your exposure to the cyber savvy trying to advance their agenda at your expense. http://arstechnica.com
