AT&T shames unauthorized phone tetherers, gives ultimatum

From the article: "So far, we don't know of anyone who has received AT&T's e-mail in error. Did any of you receive the message, and if so what are you planning to do?"

Very interesting stuff. $30 for unlimited without tethering or $45 for 4GB of data and tethering is the choice some jailbreakers are seemingly going to have to make very soon.

Only AT&T knows how they are doing they detection and they aren't telling. So far it seems that no one who isn't tethering via jailbreak has got the notice, so at least AT&T's method is apparently accurate.

Why Firefox 4 Is Winning the Browser Battle

Those who have proclaimed Firefox dead or obsolete may have spoken a little too soon. Sure 3.X was getting long in the proverbial tooth, but obviously there was a pent up demand for the new version. Last I checked on the afternoon of day 2, there have now been over 10 million downloads of Firefox 4. I'm very personally pleased with the copy I downloaded and installed yesterday, by the way.

Why nobody can match the iPad's price

This article exlains why the Ipad is so cheap at $500! Motorola's Xoom tablet is debuting in the United States with an $800 price tag. There's no $500 Xoom planned, and the lack of a low-end entry point will hurt Motorola. Samsung's Galaxy Tab, with a relatively puny 7-inch screen, costs $600 without a contract.
