When Apple announced they were transitioning to Intel-based machines, there were some who worried aloud about whether or not they would perform as well as the PPC-based machines. Appleinsider is reporting that early development machines are satisfying those developers who have them.
They further report that "Rosetta", the virtual machine that allows native PPC Mac OS X applications to run on the Intel hardware is "seamless" and fast.
Those of you who worried about the new Mac's performance might rest a little easier after reading this.
