Even though Windows 7 is nearly upon us, the Texas state Senate gave preliminary approval to a budget that would include a policy to ban the use of Windows Vista on government computers. Jack would have loved this one...
Great post, Earl. I don't know if you use Vista much or not, but I have grown to prefer it to XP. There are 100s of little subtle improvements all thru it; You just have to consider turning the UAC off if you get tired of being bugged.
Nonetheless, seems here once again we have a bunch of Politicos making laws in a technical area where they lack expertise. I find it very disheartening that this has become so common.
