Security outfit calls for roll back of IE - The Inquirer

"INSECURITY OUTFIT Kaspersky Labs is apparently so alarmed that so many of its customers are reporting problems with Microsoft's Internet Exploder 8 that it is advising them to roll back to IE7."
Have you tried Internet Explorer 8 yet? You might want to hold off for a little while. I am running IE 8 but only use IE when I need Active X (like in Microsoft updates)
