ReplyDeleteThe only practical use I can see for the 4 - 6 GB RAM consumer machines that are common today is Windows 7 with XP. The memory footprint of XP in a virtual partition under Windows 7 will be huge. But it will heat the room nicely (something AlaskaJoe thinks about).
