1) Sometimes the simple answers to big problems seem to work out well, a small easy change usually does not solve a problem completely, but when it comes to something as potentially large as global warming eve a small slow down could be effective. 2) The subject of time travel seems to be coming up again, I have seen several related story’s lately. I thought this one was interesting the article is based on quantum theory projections. The whole quantum world is getting stranger by the day. It appears using postselection, and teleportation together it may be possible to go back and forth in time without concern for paradoxes. http://www.telegraph.co.uk

3) Another of those big finds using Google Earth, like the lost cities in the jungles of South America, Atlantis that alas turned out to be a not, but it was interesting anyway. Looks like they found the best preserved crater on Earth, wonder if there is a meteoroid at the bottom of the hole. http://news.discovery.com/

4) We visited this a year or two ago, it seems to be still around and getting stronger so I thought I would revisit the subject. I saw a couple of articles here is one of them. They are talking about i-dosing, or using the internet and headphones to produce altered states of perception. When I tried it before I was disappointed, left me thinking placebo effect. 5) This is one of those geeky things that I don’t have to worry about. I found this link about how to turn our handwriting into a font. Believe me my handwriting in not something that should be preserved as a font. But, I have known people in the past that were very proud of their handwriting usually with good reason. I know my father would have liked to play with this idea. http://techland.com
